Operating principle

High-performance liquid chromatography allows you to analyze the components of complex samples by pumping a solution (mobile phase) through a column containing an adsorbent material (stationary phase), which separates and interacts distinctly with the analytes. In such a system, the fundamental parameters are capacitance factor, selectivity, efficiency (number of theoretical plates), and resolution.

The photos attached show the high-performance pumps model 110B which allow a mobile phase flow from 0.1 to 9.9 mL/min. The maximum operating pressure of the pump is approximately 4,000 psi.
