The 4th Satellite Meeting
on Carbonic Anhydrase will take place on November 14-17th 2019 in Parma (Italy), a beautiful city in the north of Italy, halfway between Milan and Bologna, heart of the Food Valley, home of Giuseppe Verdi and Italian capital of the culture for the year 2020 .
The program of the conference will include lectures by some of the most distinguished scientists from all over the world, working on various aspects of CA research. A balance between the consolidated, well-known contributors to the field, as well as the “new entries” who have produced important, break-through discoveries in the last years, will be considered precious contributes for the conference.
The main topics will focus on:
- Comparative aspects of new CA families and isozymes
- Regulation of expression of CA isoforms and their physiologic consequences
- CAs as drug and diagnostic targets
- Roles of CAs in diseases
- CAs in plants, bacteria, corals and other organisms
