SCI - Real Sociedad Española de Química (RSEQ)
The procedure for the selection of a Spanish Scientist to be awarded the Ciamician-Gonzales Lectureship 2019 by the Società Chimica Italiana has been opened.
Members of the Società Chimica Italiana are entitled to submit proposals of eminent Scientists trough the Presidents of their Divisions of SCI.
The board of each Division will select one nominee among the candidatures received. The nomination of each Division will be sent by the Division’s President to the Secretary Dr. Barbara Spadoni by next December, 15 before h. 24.00.
Nominations will be evaluated by the Committee for International Relations composed by Salvatore Coluccia, Alberto Credi, Gianluca Farinola, Gaetano Guerra
SCI - Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh)
The Ziegler-Natta Lectureship 2018 has been awarded to Prof. Dirk Guldi “for the outstanding achievements in the study of the chemical, physical and photophysical properties of (supra)molecular species and nanostructured materials by spectroscopic and microscopic techniques, thereby developing novel concepts and systems for solar energy conversion, photovoltaics and catalysis”.
SCI - Société Chimique de France (SCF)
The 2017 SCI-SCF Lectureship has been awarded to Prof. Michel Che (Université Pierre et Marie Curie – Paris, France) “For pioneering a molecular approach to catalyst design by bridging the gap between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis through the new field of interfacial coordination chemistry”.
